Top 5 Isekai Donghua

Image
1.Soul Land There is plenty of isekai donghua out there and they sometimes have many similarities while they also have unique twists in their respective story. For example, among the common isekai cliche from various donghua that I had seen is when the main characters died yet reincarnated  in another world and possessed someone else identity. Another example is when the main character simply gets inside an elevator or a door then found himself in another world a few seconds later. One thing I have noticed though is that almost every isekai donghua shared the same element – CULTIVATION. Thus, I think it is safe to conclude that isekai is most effective to apply in a story set in a cultivation Donghua. The isekai cliche is not only popular among the cultivation or xianxia donghua but also in Chinese manhua and web novels. Furthermore, most of the popular Chinese isekai anime are based on these novels. 2.The Dominic King Who Chases His Wive It’s about a famous assassin wh...

  1. Ride Your Waves Director Masaaki Yuasa's "Ride Your Wave" is a drama for those who dig romantic tales and long strolls on the beach. The story centers around Hinako Mukaimizu, a 19-year-old surfer whose new apartment goes up in flames. Thankfully, a firefighter named Minato Hinageshi saves her, and as anyone can imagine, the attractive pair grow to form quite the lovable bond. But when a horrific scenario changes everything, Hinako and Minato's love story is put to the ultimate test, one that at first seems fantastical but has a lot more going on underneath its cinematic layers. From its incredible cast of characters to the film's beautiful narrative arcs, "Ride Your Wave" is a fascinating movie with a very humble message at its center, relatable to anyone who has lost someone they hold dear. While it's telling a story with some fairytale-like qualities, the movie is more down-to-earth than its hyper-romantic images make it seem. Overall, this d...

  1. Sk8 The Infinity It is an anime about two young boys named Reki Kyan and Langa Hasegawa. They both are passionate about skateboarding.   To get more experience in this field, they take part in an illegal skateboarding competition named 'S'.   The contest is in an old abandoned mine, where the parts are extremely risky and can be life-threatening.   But the skaters do not care as they just want to skate and showcase their skating tricks and prove themselves amongst other skaters.  This anime gets intense with the progression of the story and the viewers will see drastic character developments.   It is a great show to binge on and has all the potential to be an addictive anime series.                                                               SOURCE: YOUTUBE 2.
